You can request deletion of your y2k: 2000s photo editor community account and its submitted stickers without reinstalling the app.
From the app
Open Settings, sign in to the account you want to delete if necessary, and choose Delete Account below About. Confirm the request. Your community stickers stop being available for new use as soon as the authenticated request is accepted.
Without the app
Email [email protected] with “Delete my y2k account” in the subject. Request deletion of your account and submitted stickers, and identify your sign-in method and account email (including your Apple private relay address, if used). You can send the same request from any email service if the link does not open.
We will verify that you control the account before acting. Do not send a password, verification code, identity document, or a copy of your photo library. If you cannot access your sign-in provider, explain this and we will help identify a safe verification route.
What happens to your data
- We remove your community account, submitted image files, captions, titles, hashtags, original submission metadata, and associated active profile and consent records, and revoke applicable sign-in access.
- New catalog delivery stops before background deletion of stored copies completes. Service backups expire under provider backup schedules.
- Limited pseudonymous moderation, security, or legal records may remain where needed to prevent abuse, address disputes, or comply with law. We explain any applicable retention exception when responding to your request.
- Photos, videos, and private stickers on your device are kept. Delete those using the app’s local library controls.
- Other users’ already permitted edits, remixes, and free y2k templates cannot be recalled.
We aim to finish routine requests within 30 days and will contact you if identity verification or a legal obligation affects that timing. Email support for confirmation or questions about an in-app request.
Deleting an account does not cancel a subscription. Manage y2k plus through Apple subscription settings or Google Play subscription settings.
